Unexpected Results From A Conservative Political T-Shirts Party

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

Politics have always been a really touchy subject. They say there’s two things you should steer away from in a conversation, and those are religion and politics. If you feel like talking about politics, you should just stick to the weather. Well, I could never really agree with that. In fact, I have gotten into some pretty heated debates with strangers in public, just because of the conservative political t-shirts I like to wear. I was getting really tired of all the arguing, so I decided I needed a vacation.

In order to surround myself with fellow right-wing conservatives, I figured I would throw a big party. I was terrified that the libs would see my invitations and storm us like the beach at Normandy. As a lover of my personal collection, I decided on a whim to include in the invites that it was required to wear conservative political t-shirts if you wanted to attend. If liberals wanted to come, we would spot them right away and if the wanted to come incognito, they would have to actually buy a t-shirt to wear…which isn’t likely.

The day of the party arrived, and I was genuinely nervous about who might show up. I posted these invitations randomly around town and online, so it was entirely possible that a group of random liberals might try to crash it and ruin my night. I wanted to host this party with conservative political t-shirts so that I could meet fellow conservatives in the area and share ideas. The main motivation was to lay a foundation of support, collect email addresses, and organize for rallies and the such.

Luckily, the liberals stayed home that day. Not only did the liberals stay home, but the conservatives showed up in force. I had several people call during the week to confirm their invite, but many more showed up unannounced. My wife made plenty of snacks and we certainly had plenty to drink. The party went off without a hitch. Everyone wore conservative political t-shirts, as requested, that ranged from the hilarious to the plain outrageous.

That party was a giant success. Not only did I network with the area’s most vehement supporters for right-wing issues, but I also made several close friends that I have kept to this very day. We make the conservative political t-shirts party and annual thing now, and we have actually had people fly in from out-of-state to attend. We rent a local VFW these days, hire catering, and get a band to play. Sometimes great things start out as tiny ideas. I like to think that my little party has created an awesome local political force for good.

The Change In Tactical Clothing Systems – Discussing The Multicam Combat Camouflage Pattern

Tuesday, January 25th, 2011

A change in tactical clothing is necessary every few years when conditions and environments change. A system known as GEN III ECWCS was created in the last decade because of the conditions in Afghanistan. These clothing systems have seven layers and are lighter and less bulky and can be useful in all kinds of weather and climate conditions.

Multicam is the latest design in these types of tactical clothing systems and has been recently developed. These new Multicam uniforms sport a new camouflage design and are slowly replacing the old camouflage pattern, but not all units use it at this time.

The developers of Multicam are Cry associates and they worked in conjunction with the U.S. Army Soldier System Center to develop the pattern with a three color desert and wood camouflage design.

Multicam is a replacement for the Universal Camo and it is being introduced by soldiers all over, and it is being used by the American Special Operations Unit and law enforcement. To this day the pattern is slowly replacing Universal Camo in Afghanistan.

Multicam has the advantage of being able to allow one to hide in any condition or environment. Multicam tactical clothing blends in with the seasons, lighting and elevations and it has been designed to reflect one’s surrounding environment. Technically speaking the Multicam can appear to be green or tan by using a blending effect that also disguises volume and shape.

The Multicam fabric has several colors woven throughout it. The colors are brown to light tan and even has lime green mixed in with it. The lime green has a yellow green gradient with brown and light pink blended in for certain effects.

This type of color shading used in Multicam tricks the naked eye in its perception and causes one to be able to hide in any condition or environment. There are also Multicam patterns that are location specific.

The Multicam pattern is not just limited to tactical clothing. The Multicam is also used with tactical equipment such as harnesses, vests, packs and weapon accessories. Even these can be designed with the Multicam pattern.

In addition to multicam pattern, the author additionally regularly shares knowledge about cell phone detective and lottery method.

Why Non-Profits Are Important

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Non-profit organizations (also known as a NPO), unlike traditional types of “businesses”, does not distribute surplus funds to share holders or owners. In most nations NPOs are tax exempt for both properties and income. The most well-known and iconic variety of NPOs is any form of a charity. There are many varieties of charities that exist in the world.

Charities, and other non-profits, are most often determined to achieve a certain, specific, type of goal for society or peoples. That goal may be to assist or encourage the growth of local business for the entire region, or to assist the poor in receiving aid in some form or fashion. The important ingredient is that it is directed at aiding the societal collective in some fashion, and not just the individuals at the top.

A individual seeking to start a non-profit must first take a good look at what their goals are. Do they want to promote legal reform in one manner or another? Do they aim to help protect citizen’s civil liberties? Perhaps another goal would be to, for example, try to disseminate information to mothers on the importance of good diet and nutrition for their developing child’s health.

A goal such as promoting nutrition may seemingly be (at first glance) a small matter, however, in reality, nutrition shapes the way boys and girls, and thus all of society, grow and their brains and even personalities develop. If no organization appears and makes such a worthy end a real priority because it is not profitable to the individual, then the entire society is damaged in the long-term scheme of things.

The critical steps to beginning a non-profit organization is to, as mentioned before, assess the societal goal. Thereafter, one must find a few similarly motivated individuals to either invest their personal time or other personal resources in helping to build momentum to further the cause of the organization. This could ostensibly be something as simple as publicity for the NPO. A well formed letter to the right person can make all of the difference in the world for a new organization. One of the final steps is to establish the group as a not-for-profit entity. This requires real patience, good information which is now easily found on the internet, and in some cases a lawyer. Thankfully, since the goal of the organization is most often one for the whole region it may often be possible to find legal counsel willing to help out with the red-tape for little money.
