Work For Non Profit Graphic Design Companies

Monday, May 2nd, 2011

Non profit graphic design is where your time is donated as opposed to asking for a rate. This does not mean that the work has to be below standard. The rates could also be lower than the usual rates charged. That is, if you do not want to offer your services for free.

If any low rates are charged or any donations are received for the project, this is used by the graphics company for further development and providing outputs for other organizations. It could also be used to train more staff.

Of major importance for clients is to provide clear briefs which would be easy and quick to understand so that there is no time wastage. The briefs must be comprehensive and realistic as well. It has to give the designer the ability to start working toward an end product almost immediately. It also is a great idea for the designer to work on at least three distinct ideas so that there is a wider choice for the client from which to choose.

The designer must also make sure that he or she understands the brief clearly before starting to work on it so that no time is wasted. The time for reviews should be limited so that there is enough room to make small changes and not to be too far off the mark (or not at all). The brief has to be as clear as well so that there is no room for any error.

The client, therefore, has to have an absolutely direct and clear brief so there is no room for a wrong direction. They want relevant, to the point and very strong, appealing visuals. This is true for any organization who wants material to bring across a message.

The type of designing is a service to many and this is not just for the art work which will be produced. Many of these companies have there own charitable work which has to do with the training of other designers. These very designers could also become a part of the staff or become a mainstream designer.

Are you looking to raise your market recognition? The Winn Group will assist with each of your non profit marketing agency needs. Their focus is solely on not-for-profit and cause-centric associations. They understand the complexities and specific chellenges related to marketing for these types of entities and will tailor-make a plan for you.

Learning About Things Americans Want To Buy But Can’t

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

There is no doubt that Americans want to buy. It is in their nature to want to try out new things and enjoy what life has to offer. However, this takes money and the current economic situation finds this in short supply.

At the current time many people are either unemployed or facing other financial difficulties and, as a result, surge buying is not a practical option. Buying habits have been drastically changed because of a number of reasons. Many employees no longer feel that their job is secure so are trying to hedge against the possibility of being unemployed. In other words, they feel threatened and are trying to conserve as much money as possible.

Not only the fear of job loss but the sharp increase in prices on every front is draining money that used to be used in retail businesses. A tank of gasoline now costs about fifty dollars and is expected to get even higher. Groceries, such as meat, are at prices that were unheard of a few years ago. This means that that money, that was previously available, is not going to a retail business.

Federal, state and county governments are also in a financial bind. As a result, they have laid off many employees who would, otherwise be spending money in the retail market. In addition, fees and taxes have been raised on everyone, which affects everything including water, garbage pickup, car registration and other things.

Consumer spending can only be achieved where there is sufficient income to allow it. Basic needs, such as housing, utilities, food and transportation are going to be first on the list of where the money is spent. When these expenses reach the amount of the income there simply is nothing left to help the economy recover.

In addition, many people are finding themselves loaded with consumer debt due to spending when there did not seem to be any foreseeable future income problems. As a result, many are also struggling to try to repay credit cards and other obligations that accumulated. The housing market is a prime example of this problem.

Some consumer advocates are reporting retail sales are returning to normal. Normal means that people feel secure in their future prospects and have sufficient income to cover all expenses as well as make purchases. Although this will, no doubt, occur eventually, at the current time it is not happening.

An attempt by the government to stimulate the economy by reducing the amount of social security tax on workers. This two percent, may help temporarily but it must be remembered that this reduces the cash flow to the social security fund that provides insurance for retired workers. This money will have to be made up by other means. Americans want to buy what the market has to offer, as a matter of fact, many are anxious to do so. However, to be realistic one cannot make a purchase without the money to pay for it unless they want to go further in debt, which many are reluctant to do. There is no doubt that, eventually, things will again become stable and retail sales will increase, it is just a matter of time.

Get inside info on the various products Americans want to purchase now in our complete review of everything you need to know about market analysis and how a trading system works.

President Obama also named Gene Sperling to lead the National Economic Council. Sperling held that post while Bill Clinton was in his second term as president. Geithner will be responsible in part for the recovery of the car manufacturing industry, restructure of the financial system and tax changes. He will also negotiate with leaders of foreign countries on financial matters. The three new appointments, Daley, Sperling and Geithner are expected to continue the rejuvenation of the U. S. Economy. They will each be challenged with the responsibility of dealing with the staggering national debt.

Members of Congress, Republicans and Democrats alike, are familiar with Sperling and Daley. They are also familiar with big business and labor groups. Daley was described as a potentially beneficial chief of staff by Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnel. He praised his experience in corporate America. His position as president of SBC Communications and member of the executive directors board at Boeing were both successful. He has been at JPMorgan since 2007. On the detrimental side, he was a board member of Fannie Mae, which is responsible for many people losing their homes to foreclosure. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac approved ill-advised loans, which led to the mortgage crisis.

There is hopeful anticipation that Daley will be a success in his new post. He is expected to resign from the boards he sits on. Is Mobile Marketing An Effective Tool Solely During Election Time?

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

Mobile Marketing and Politics came together famously, in 2008, for Presidential-hopeful Barack Obama. It is reported that using mobile marketing may well have contributed to his overall success. It certainly brought him closer to the people and encouraged voters to go out and exercise their vote. His “Change” messages were personal, authentic, each delivered to the individual mobile owner- his supporters felt connected to their candidate in an interactive and unique way that traditional marketing has never before offered . Mobile Marketing for Barack Obama meant that through the use of SMS messaging, he was able to rally attendance when he was in town, request donations and at the end of the campaign, even send a “thank you” SMS after his victory. Putting mobile into his marketing mix was genius or to coin a phrase “A Victory for Obama, a victory for mobile”. But is Mobile Marketing an effective tool solely during election time?

Well, Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown is a good example of a candidate who used a mobile marketing campaign successfully during election time and now that the election is over, continues to use mobile marketing for ongoing communication with those voters and supporters who opted-in. He is using SMS to interact with his constituents throughout his political cycle, telling them about the work he is doing during his office. This savvy politician sees the value of Mobile Marketing to his political career going forward.

Mobile Marketing after an election can be just as effective as during the election itself. The Politician can give and receive feedback and the relationship between himself and the voter can be ongoing. That is the uniqueness of this type of marketing – it’s not just a one-way pitch. Working with a mobile marketing vendor, the Politician will have a useful system set up with an in-house database with vital data, voter profiles and so on. This will be important during his time in office and in the lead-up to his next campaign.

As mobile use grows in the US and mobiles become yet more sophisticated, so the Politician and the voter will become ever-more ready for what mobile marketing has to offer. The potential of this two-way relationship is exciting and the potential for growth is limitless.

Hilary Clinton has herself enthused about mobile marketing technology, as a way of benefiting natural disaster victims globally. She urges Americans to join her in texting their donations and show their generosity. She’s getting her message across via mobile, too. Mobile marketing has a place in politics year-round and not just during election time.

Have Politicians Effectively Used Mobile Marketing?

Saturday, December 18th, 2010

For those of you already familiar with Mobile Marketing techniques, if I were to mention it in the same sentence as Politicians, you would no doubt immediately think of US President Barack Obama. His highly successful use of a Mobile Marketing campaign in his run up to the Presidency is touted as one of the reasons he did in fact win. It is said that his use of this new media helped mobilize the electorate to get out and vote. As a result, most of us have heard of his Change message. Mr Obama aside, have (other) Politicians effectively used Mobile Marketing?

Politicians don’t necessarily have to be running for the top job to use this type of marketing but the right campaign strategy can be the difference between win or lose, especially in a tight-fought-for race. That is why savvy politicians are using text messaging to reach the masses and are achieving better results through polling, voting and viral social networking. Many will use mobile marketing companies to do the job for them, reaching voters through SMS by acquiring a short code number. It’s extremely simple to set up and operate and the results are phenomenal.

Trying to reach voters en masse has never been easier and Obama’s SMS campaign is thought to have encouraged many more voters than expected to turn out on the day. What voters liked most about mobile marketing was the personal messages they received; the interaction with their chosen candidate. Whilst it isn’t expected to replace traditional marketing ways, at least not yet, it is a vital component in the marketing mix nowadays and complements it beautifully. It is said that those politicians using mobile marketing have a clear advantage over those who don’t.

Democratic US senate candidate Robin Carnahan was very positive about the advantages of mobile marketing in the world of political campaigning, as were some of his rival politicians. The number of politicians using it is most definitely on the rise and it’s likely to skyrocket when the next presidential election rolls around.

It is thought that the absence of mobile marketing in the US mid-tem elections earlier this year meant that many campaigners failed to get their political messages across and thus were unable to reach vital voters. Mobile marketing is here to stay and smart politicians are catching on.

Political Marketing Turns Mobile

Friday, December 10th, 2010

Mobile Marketing is fast becoming a phenomenon in the way advertisers are now marketing their products, services and campaigns. Never before have consumers been so easier to reach, day or night and in such a personal way. But whilst its effectiveness in the world of commercial advertising is becoming plain to see, does mobile marketing have a place in political advertising?

Commercial advertising has long been a central feature of the US culture and is more prevalent than ever now in European countries and in many of the developed Asian countries. In the past few decades, political advertising too has increasingly become an essential tool in campaign strategies particularly for Presidential campaigns. But have traditional advertising methods given way to mobile marketing? Well, the answer is a resounding YES!

President Barack Obama owes a great deal to his effective use of mobile marketing in his own run for the Oval Office in 2008. In fact, it is said that mobile marketing played a pivotal role in his campaign and outreach strategies and may even have won him the election. Using two simple mobile platforms; the 62262 (spells OBAMA) common short code and the http://obamamobile.mobi or http://m.barackobama.com websites.

It is said that mobile marketing played a vital role in his campaign and outreach strategies . Using two simple mobile platforms; the 62262 (spells OBAMA) common short code and the http://obamamobile.mobi or http://m.barackobama.com websites. Obama’s use of mobile was thought to be an important part of his Change message. His campaign managers and mobile marketing specialists used a combination of SMS text messaging, Mobile Website, interactive voice response, mobile video banner ads to reach out to U.S. voters and the rest is history.

If you need any more convincing, then conversely, it is thought that the absence of mobile marketing in the recent US midterm elections resulted in many campaigners failing to reach voters with their messages. They failed to engage their voters- they failed to connect with their target audiences. They have yet to see the importance of mobile marketing in the political advertising arena.

The Right Way When Selecting A Gun Safe

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

Do you fancy yourself to be somebody who knows much about gun safes? There are so many things that one has to be schooled on before they go out and try to purchase a gun safe.

First and foremost you will have to know outright what it is and what it is for. A gun safe is basically a place where you have for the safekeeping of your guns, firearms and their ammunition. This keeps people who do not know how to use them or those who are not supposed to touch them from getting to them.

You can use a gun safe to keep your guns safe from burglars. You can also use them as a storage area that will make sure that elements like fire and water do not affect their condition.

There are however a lot of steps that one will have to make sure they follow if they want to acquire one of these gun safes. For example, a while back the only place one would be able to get a gun lock would be by applying for it from the government.

Today however, the market is offering to any customers gun cabinets. These have been sophisticatedly designed to make sure that they conceal the cabinets’ real functions. This way, a stranger’s curiosity is not aroused when they see them.

There is no doubt that the brand manufacturer chosen for the cabinet will greatly dictate the features of the cabinet that one buys. One common thing about them is that a majority of them are made from fine stained wood.

Things like do you need a digital lock or do you just want to use a simple key will greatly depend on how much money you are willing to spend and whether the brand chosen offers these features. You can even have safes that only open once they recognize your fingerprint.

The best way to go about trying to purchase a gun safe is to first determine how much you are willing to spend on one and then going online and looking at your different options.
