The top three candidates in the 2012 Republican presidential primaries are Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum. Gingrich and Santorum are both Catholics while Romney is a Mormon, presenting two relatively uncommon faiths among presidential candidates in American history. As of Super Tuesday, Romney is the popular vote leader, with 3,472,365 votes.

Mitt Romney, born and raised in southeast Michigan, is the son of George Romney, a former governor of Michigan. Because of serving as the CEO of “Bain & Company” and attaining an MBA at Harvard University, he is highly praised for his background in business. He is also known for serving as a missionary for Mormonism in France, and his participation in The Jesus Christ Church of Latter-Day Saints.

While serving as governor of Massachusetts, he created roughly 15,000 jobs per year. Proportional to the population, his job-creation plan is believed to have been more effective than Obama’s job plans used in his presidency. However, he is often accused of switching sides repeatedly on important social issues such as abortion and stem cell research. Critics claim that he tends to follow the most popular opinion on an issue in order to gain the most support.

Born in Pennsylvania and raised mostly in Georgia, Newt Gingrich was a speaker for the House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. After his resignation, he has worked mostly as a consultant for various politicians. After spending most of his life as a Southern Baptist and being born into a Lutheran family, he switched faiths in 2009 to Roman Catholicism.

Most of his political views are parallel to the Republican Party’s. For example he is pro-life; he opposes stem cell research, drug law reform, same-sex marriage, and medical marijuana; and also supports prayer in our public schools. Overall, the general public consider very few of his political views to be unique in relation to his Party.

Rick Santorum served as a United States Senator in Pennsylvania for twelve consecutive years, from 1994 to 2006. Also, while maintaining loyalty to his party’s ideals, he is most often described as a social conservative. Although enjoying limited success at his campaign’s beginning, he has since gained momentum and is now considered, along with Mitt Romney, to be a front-runner in the race.

However, he holds certain viewpoints with which some Americans have expressed discomfort. For example: he stated, in an interview with a program on ABC, that he doesn’t believe in keeping church and state separate, and that religion and politics can mix. This worries Americans because, as history shows, even the most religious presidents in our history remained secularists despite their faith. Proponents of climate change have also expressed frustration with Santorum’s claims that global warming is both “junk science” and “a conspiracy theory”. They fear that, if elected, he would not properly address climate change, and that it would lead to catastrophe.

The following quote from Fidel Castro, to avoid plagiarism, has been slightly re-worded: “The selection for a 2012 Republican candidate for presidency of America is the single greatest competition in idiocy and ignorance that has ever been.” It appears that the 2012 Republican presidential primaries are running low on confidence and support. We can only hope, however, that Americans will make a good choice this November.

One out of these candidates could make it as President which might affect household budgetary finances indirectly. Don’t let it. Visit Us to see how you can raise cash regardless.

There is a lot of debate over owning guns and promoting the ownership of guns. When the topic comes up, you can just see the proponents and the opponents bristle on both sides in anticipation for a fight. Even when you just wear pro gun t-shirts, you can expect someone you run across to give you a dirty look.

This is the exact reason why you should never wear cool gun tees merely because they are cool. When you wear a shirt that promotes gun ownership, you are making a very bold statement to the rest of the world that, “yes, this is something I believe in. If you have a problem with my point of view, then I am ready to defend it.”

Wearing great gun shirts is exactly the same as walking into a room and loudly proclaiming that you are prepared for a debate about the subject. When you wear an article of clothing that is about such a hotly contested topic, then you must be prepared to defend it. You should never go into public wearing one of these shirts and be ignorant of the talking points, because there is a very good chance you will be called upon to discuss it…sometimes heatedly.

A good thing you should get into the practice of doing is researching the topic thoroughly. You may be a very eloquent speaker and a very bright person, but walking into a debate about guns without learning some facts and figures is like walking into a gun fight with no ammunition. It is a fools errand and you will end up with egg on your face as you flounder helplessly while pointing to your awesome gun tees and telling them how cool you think your shirts are.

Look to the Internet for your knowledge, because there is no greater tool on earth for self-education. You may have to show a bit of prudence when discovering sources because everyone is not entirely truthful on the Internet, and that could hurt you more than it could help. Make sure you know what you’re talking about and talk about it with the force of conviction when you wear pro gun tees. Otherwise, you will be doing far more harm than good.

If you need to know more about popular gun shirts check out cool gun shirts for a great example.

The times, they are a-changing, my friends. Where once it seems as if this country was led by God-fearing men with a passion for individual rights, it seems like that has all changed in favor of protecting the masses against their own laziness and ineptitude. When did America go from being the most industrious country in the world to the most lazy? Probably right around when people stopped honoring God, guns, and family. This is why we should promote these things with our political gun shirts.

The idea of wearing pro gun t-shirts is that by supporting guns, we are also supporting the other things that are most important to our rights as upstanding Americans. The Book of Luke in the Holy Bible, chapter 22; verse 36 tells us that if we do not own a sword, then we should sell our clothes to buy one. That is such a powerful verse to me, and I certainly feel that God wants us to be able to protect ourselves…and our family.

Speaking of family, that is yet another thing the support of gun ownership with trendy gun tees supports. There are not as many crazy old guys in the woods, hoarding weapons, and planning their secret shooting sprees as you may think. The most common gun owner is someone who is protecting their family with an eye for defense or using their guns for sport. This is why sponsoring guns also sponsors a strong family life.

The number one thing you can help bring awareness to with pro gun tshirts are gun rights themselves. Guns are not just granted to the masses for the protection of our homes and our families. Guns are in place here in America as a strong deterrent against tyranny in all forms. An outside, invading force would have 300 millions guns pointed at them…as would any home-grown dictators.

Wearing these great gun shirts is not just about being a redneck with a gun, as the media would have you believe. Owning a gun means that you are one of the few Americans left who believes in the sanctity of our freedom. It means you honor God, the idea of family, independence, and freedom. Wear a gun shirt, talk to people, and win the hearts and minds of our political opponents before we lose our chance to do anything but submit.

If you are curious about great gun t-shirts you can visit cool gun apparel where you can sample the ordering process.

Look what came in the mail today! Your super-awesome set of funny t-shirts that you’ve ordered from the Internet just showed up and you couldn’t be more excited! There is nothing you can’t do! You are King of your Domain, and you will march forth into the wilderness to conquer all with the hilarity of your funny t-shirts! You decide that the ground of your first comedy conquest will be at the vegetable stand of your local Farmer’s Market, because you are in dire need of fresh veggies for the stew you are making later that evening.

That seemed like a great plan until you actually arrived and left the safety of your vehicle. Once you walked up to the fruit and veggie stand you popped your chest out so that everyone could read your funny t-shirt in order to join you for a laugh. Well, that’s not what is happening. What’s happening is that you are being yelled at by an old farmer lady and being chased back to your car. Something has gone wonderfully wrong. You have offended everyone with one of your funny t-shirts. I wonder what could have happened?

The problem lies with a generational gap the size of the Grand Canyon. You grew up nursing from the Internet like a calf from an udder. You have learned much of what you know from things you saw on the Web. The older generations only know of the Internet as a place to check your bank account. Think of all the terrible, profane things you’ve seen on the Web. Don’t you think that may have blurred the lines of what is offensive and what is not within your own mind? The word “jaded” does not even begin to touch upon how you view funny t-shirts. You don’t even know what “offensive” means any longer.

You may not realize it due to your jaded nature, but your funny t-shirts could very well be offensive. If you are too jaded to figure it out, you need to look carefully at your shirts and run through a mental checklist of offensive material to make certain your shirts are safe to wear out in the real world. You also need to understand that some things that seem hilarious on a computer, may not be so funny to everyone else. Just make sure that your shirt isn’t about anything sexual, offensive words, religious, or political statements. Simple, right?

Where do you stand on this issue? Do you feel that the Freedom of Expression is more important than the grief of one woman who may be angered at your abortion humor? Should you have the chance to say whatever you want, no matter what kind of damage is may do in a social situation. I’ve always felt that the old adage, “First, do no harm.” to be a good thing. Is there even a right answer to the question of what is “too” offensive? I suppose the only way to find out is to wear your funny t-shirts and see what happens.

To learn more about funny t-shirts you should check out funny t-shirt for an informative product site.

Politics have always been a really touchy subject. They say there’s two things you should steer away from in a conversation, and those are religion and politics. If you feel like talking about politics, you should just stick to the weather. Well, I could never really agree with that. In fact, I have gotten into some pretty heated debates with strangers in public, just because of the conservative political t-shirts I like to wear. I was getting really tired of all the arguing, so I decided I needed a vacation.

In order to surround myself with fellow right-wing conservatives, I figured I would throw a big party. I was terrified that the libs would see my invitations and storm us like the beach at Normandy. As a lover of my personal collection, I decided on a whim to include in the invites that it was required to wear conservative political t-shirts if you wanted to attend. If liberals wanted to come, we would spot them right away and if the wanted to come incognito, they would have to actually buy a t-shirt to wear…which isn’t likely.

The day of the party arrived, and I was genuinely nervous about who might show up. I posted these invitations randomly around town and online, so it was entirely possible that a group of random liberals might try to crash it and ruin my night. I wanted to host this party with conservative political t-shirts so that I could meet fellow conservatives in the area and share ideas. The main motivation was to lay a foundation of support, collect email addresses, and organize for rallies and the such.

Luckily, the liberals stayed home that day. Not only did the liberals stay home, but the conservatives showed up in force. I had several people call during the week to confirm their invite, but many more showed up unannounced. My wife made plenty of snacks and we certainly had plenty to drink. The party went off without a hitch. Everyone wore conservative political t-shirts, as requested, that ranged from the hilarious to the plain outrageous.

That party was a giant success. Not only did I network with the area’s most vehement supporters for right-wing issues, but I also made several close friends that I have kept to this very day. We make the conservative political t-shirts party and annual thing now, and we have actually had people fly in from out-of-state to attend. We rent a local VFW these days, hire catering, and get a band to play. Sometimes great things start out as tiny ideas. I like to think that my little party has created an awesome local political force for good.

It has been known for years that energy is one of the key elements to the Unites States economy and one if the main reasons that America has continued to maintain its global dominance. Due to its constant innovations and perseverance in trying times, Americans are proud of their success and will remain pride full for generation to come. Even in the most trying times, Americans continue to strive on and plow through obstacles even when the odds are stacked against them. History shows that it is through this dedication and hard work that that America has in fact became one nation, under god, with liberty and justice for ALL. Let me repeat that. Justice for ALL.

What does it mean to be an American?

From our early beginnings, America has shown leadership in virtually every facet of our modern world. The struggles we go through shape our character and our resolve in this place in time. America is one nation and it is time we acknowledged that. As the media constantly reminds us about the dismal state of the economy, let me remind you, we have the most abundant resources available in history. We have greater access to everything when compared to our grandparents. The complaining and bickering MUST STOP! We are one nation. We are a nation of leaders, entrepreneurs, hard working individuals who don’t mind sacrificing for the greater good of the world in which we all are a apart of. We are the greatest nation the world has ever known and will be for quite some time.

This is where it gets interesting.

When our founding fathers built the framework for this country, they had a vision of a new world and a new environment where anything was possible and there was no limit on what one could achieve. Success was, and still is there for the taking. Somewhere along the lines, some in our society determined that innovation and success, hard work and prosperity was a bad thing, that success was evil. This kind of mentality is just plain wrong.

2012 Presidential candidate Mitt Romney recently revealed his net worth to be between $190 Million to $250 Million. In the announcement, it continues that Mr. Romney’s investments include consumer staples, energy, finance, health, industrial, communications as well as information technology. Absent these types of investments, America could not have the needed means to continue to prosper. Our entire world may not continue to progress and the culture of innovation on which America was founded upon would cease to exist. This could result in a complete devastation of our entire society.

The fact that Mitt Romney has achieved a level of success and wealth unimaginable to some should not be seen as a negative trait, but should be looked upon as a beaming light as to what can be achieved in America. I appreciate any individual’s investments in our society and welcome any attempt from any person to better our society. From a financial investment, emotional investment to educational investments, I encourage you to take a look at your situation and consider how you are helping shape the world to be a better place and consider how you are contributing to the greatest society you and I have ever known.

With the announcement of his investment holdings in Energy, presidential candidate Mitt Romney may have indicated that if a successful Oil Company is able to produce jobs in America, Oil Drilling Companies should be looked at as beneficial to the economic recovery.

Doesn’t it seem like every presidential election heats up earlier than the last one? The 2012 election is still over a year away but candidates are doing whatever it takes it get ahead of the competition.

Yes, it’s always better to be prepared, but is it possible to enter too early?

If somebody announces his candidacy too early, is he hurting himself by giving voters more time to get to know him, see his flaws, and dislike him? By throwing your name into the hat early, are you not just providing more time the voters and media to dig up dirt?

Isn’t it best to fly under the radar while doing all the prep work before throwing your hat in the ring? That way, when a candidate announces his candidacy for the White House, he’ll be like a breath of fresh air. All the voters will be tired of all hearing of all the other candidates and it’ll be nice for them to have another option.

A political party loves it when one of its members is in the White House for a first term, seeking a second. That’s the current situation for the Democrats who hope to re-elect President Obama. Even though people know who he is and they have seen him in the White House since 2009, party members will stick with him since he was their ticket in the first place and they’re riding the momentum.

As of right now, we know former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and Representative Michele Bachmann and others have already thrown their names in the hat to run. Texas Governor Rick Perry is set to make his official announcement Saturday and former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty has yet to decide whether or not he’ll take a shot at it.

A question to ask is whether or not Bachmann, Romney and Perry announced their candidacy too early. Will Republicans be tired of them when the time comes to pick a candidate to run against Obama? If Pawlenty does run, when should he announce his decision?

Why do people get so worked up over other people’s beliefs and opinions? Whatever happened to let’s agree to respectfully disagree? The worst is when somebody asks another person about where they stand on a particular person and then ridicule their beliefs because simply because they’re different.

In college, I knew a couple people were did this all the time, always in search for an argument or debate. Since we were almost complete opposites of each other, they’d come to me looking for a debate. I quickly realized they were doing this, so I would usually just play along with it.

This happened when a guy came up to me and asked me where I stood on the issue of homosexuality. I told him I agreed with what the Bible says on the issue and despite the fact he already knew the answer to his question and that he asked me, he acted offended as he yelled and argued up and down.

People do this when it comes to political and religious issues.

Another thing I don’t understand is why atheists get offended when people discuss God. If there really is not a god, what harm does it to to discuss the issue? Why would anybody be offended or threaten to sue?

I don’t believe in Bigfoot, the tooth fairy, UFOs, the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus, but I’m not going to be offended if you do. I might laugh at a 35-year old man who does, but I won’t find it offensive. Nor am I going to write books about how those things don’t exist.

In fact, if a kid truly believes in Santa Claus, what’s the harm in that? If the kid wants to be on the “nice” list, he will go out of his way to be good in hopes of getting a present from Santa.

Overall, I think people need to just stop, take a deep breath and relax. Don’t get so offended so easily, especially if they’re the ones who bring up the subject.

Occasionally corporate greed and sometimes unexpected accidents in the work place can have a huge impact on our environment. Highly publicized oil spills like the one that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010 are often covered by the mainstream media. These tragic accidents have a great impact on our environment but they are not the only corporate accidents affect our planet. Less publicized corporate leaks and dumps can be detrimental to the animals, plant life, and people around them.

Libby, Montana, home of the W.R. Grace plant, was the site of a major asbestos contamination. According to the findings of a court case in which the company was required to pay 250 million dollars to help clean up the area, the company knowingly released hazardous smoke contaminated with tremolite asbestos into the air. Evidence showed that not only did the company know what they were doing but that they tried to hide the dangers from workers and people who lived nearby the plant. The Company was forced to declare bankruptcy because of the steep penalties imposed by the courts. Termolite asbestos is one of the most toxic forms of asbestos and is the cause of a number of dangerous illnesses.

Children in the town of Picher, Oklahoma flocked to the towering man made mountains near their homes to play on the mounds created by a near by mining project. In the 1970’s the mines closed and by 1981 sinkholes formed all over the surface of the mounds the towns children were so fond of playing on. Examination of these holes exposed just how toxic the mine waste piles were. Studies of the waste showed that they contained harmful levels of lead. Tar creek that flows near the town was turned red because of the burns caused by acid mine water. In 2006 a federal buyout program was offered to the residents when it was discovered that mine contamination had damaged the earth underneath the entire town and it was in danger of caving in. This small town is now mostly a ghost town except for a few residents who remain despite the lack of running water.

The Massey Energy Company had a large containment reservoir full of mercury and arsenic coal slurry. During October of 2000 around 300 million gallons leaked out of the confines of the reservoir and into nearby rivers. The polluted sludge made its way up the Ohio River and is said to be the cause of property damage spanning from Eastern Kentucky into West Virginia. Many of the rivers, lakes, and streams in the area saw extreme decreases in fish population and the contaminants are said to have killed several types of plant life and other organisms vital to the health of the areas eco systems. Some people question the methods used during the investigation of the disaster by the National Mine Safety Academy. The head investigator was replaced after he raised concerns about the regulators who were monitoring the energy company during the time the spill happened. With the Bush administration’s lighter energy company regulations in place the companies violations were dropped from 8 down to 2 and they were asked to pay only $110,000 in fines to help pay for the cleanup. Evidence of this contamination still dots the shore lines of rivers and streams in the area.

Subject to exactly when it is that you come across this, you’re sometimes learning about Rick Perry in little spurts – or he’s publicized his run for the Presidency and now the ether are filled with discussions of this remarkable brand-new selection.

Regardless, if you would like to get up-to-speed concerning who he is and exactly where he got his start, here’s an at-a-glance intro that will get you up-to-speed in a few twitches of a Texas longhorn’s tail.

Early & Higher Education Days

Rick Perry came into this world March 4, 1950 in Paint Creek, Haskell Country Texas. His father Joseph Perry and mother Amelia Holt Perry were ranchers and cotton growers. His dad was an energetic Texas Democrat, commissioner of the school board in Haskell County as well as a frequent participant on the school board as well.

He graduated in 1968 from Paint Creek high school and went along to Texas A&M University. Whilst in university, he did work part-time as a book salesperson knocking on doors and discovering how to engage with people from all walks of life. He graduated from the Texas A&M animal science program in 1972.

Service in the Military

Joining the Air Force straight out of university, Rick Perry went through aviator instruction and was assigned to fly the huge C-130 “Hercules” transport aeroplanes in the s, European countries and the Middle East.

He achieved the position of Captain and departed the military services in 1977, coming back home to work the family’s cotton acerage along with his father.

Married Life

Immediately following returning home from the military, in 1982 Perry married Anita Thigpen, a youth sweetheart he’d known way back in primary school. Anita had attained a degree in nursing from West Texas State University. The two have been wed about thirty years at this point.

The Political Life

Perry initiated his time in government service back in 1984 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives.

He was originally a Democrat – although a “Texas Democrat” – and also ran Al Gore’s campaign in Texas during the 1988 primaries. He moved sides and registered with the Republican Party in 1989, stating he had “come to his senses.”

He went on to win a run for Texas Agricultural Commissioner in 1990, where he advocated the sale of Texas farm goods in various other states and countries overseas. He was reelected Agricultural Commissioner in 1994.

Then he ran successfully for Lieutenant Governor in 1998. When George W. Bush, then Governor of Texas, resigned to take up the office of Chief Executive of the US in 2000, Perry ascended to the office of Texas Governor.

He ran his first entire campaign for the Texas Governor’s office in 2002 and nailed it one more time. He ran again and won reelection in 2006. Subsequently once again in 2010. A fiscal and cultural conservative, he is the longest serving Governor of Texas through an exceptional track record of pro-business and job generating policies. Truthfully, his policies in Texas happen to be the cause of virtually one half the United States job growth over the last ten years.

Barack Obama is becoming more desperate. His record is a disaster, so he and his zombies are out spreading nonsense about Rick Perry, the one with the stellar record. Get the facts about Rick Perry and help make America great again starting in 2012.
